***If your GP has prepared a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $137.05 for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year (1st Jan to 31st December).
***If your GP has prepared an Eating Disorders plan, you will be eligible for 20+sessions which
attract the Medicare Rebate of $137.05.
***If you are attending as a private client, some of the cost will generally be recoverable, if you have private health insurance. Please check with your Health Insurance provider.
This practice uses Medicare Easyclaim software, which enables you to receive your rebate immediately into your Savings or Cheque account at the conclusion of your consult.
Full Fee= $210.00 (out of pocket $72.95) for a 50-minute session of psychological therapy with a
Clinical Psychologist, payable in full by eftpos at the end of your session. If you have been referred
by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan the current Medicare rebate of $137.05 will cover
approximately 65% of the fee (2023/24 Australian Psychological Society Recommended Fee 45-60-minute consultation with a psychologist = $300).
To increase access to services a concessional rate can be offered to holders of current
Commonwealth Concession Health Care Cards, as detailed below.

Concessional Fee= $175.00 (out of pocket $37.95) for a 50-minute session of psychological therapy with a Clinical Psychologist, payable in full by eftpos at the end of your session. If you have been referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan, the current Medicare rebate of $137.05 will cover approximately 78% of the fee.
